Personal data protection and privacy policy
The Magellan Partners Group undertakes, within the framework of its activities and in accordance with the regulations applicable in France and Europe, and in particular the European Regulation on the protection of personal data, to ensure the protection, confidentiality and security of the personal data of its users, customers, prospects and suppliers, and to respect their privacy.
This personal data protection policy (hereinafter ‘the Policy’) sets out how data is collected and processed.
To ensure proper application of the regulations, Magellan has appointed a representative who is the primary contact for personal data protection, both within Magellan and in its relations with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) on the one hand, and the individuals concerned on the other.

The Magellan Partners Group only communicates data to its authorised service providers and ensures that they comply with strict conditions of confidentiality, use and protection of this data.
1.4 Measures necessary to ensure data security
Magellan Partners Group ensures the protection of the Data entrusted to it, from the design stage and throughout the project lifecycle.
It implements security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data to protect your data against malicious intrusion, loss, alteration or disclosure to unauthorised third parties.
The information system, servers and networks it uses to process and store your data are equipped with security and protection systems (data encryption, firewalls, redundancy, backups, etc.).
It only grants access to its information system to individuals who require it to perform their duties, raises awareness among its employees about the protection of data made available to them in the course of their duties, and ensures that they comply with the rules in force and the company’s code of ethics.

1.5 Recipients of the collected data

Your data is stored within the European Union, either in our databases or in those of our service providers. Contact details collected during webinars are stored in our CRM system hosted in the EU.
In some cases, mainly for technical reasons, databases may be stored on servers located outside the European Union.
1.7 Transfer of data outside the EU
Transfers outside the European Union may be carried out, in particular in the context of IT services on the Magellan Partners Group’s systems, at our service providers’ or partners’ premises.
In this case, the Magellan Partners Group implements measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of this data and ensures that the transfer complies with the legal framework: transfer to a country that provides an adequate level of protection, signing of contractual clauses issued by the European Commission or any other regulatory or contractual means to ensure an adequate level of protection.

For example, in the case of newsletters, contact details are retained for three years after the last contact, in accordance with the recommendations of the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
1.9 Exercising rights
In accordance with applicable regulations on personal data, you have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict its processing, object to its processing on legitimate grounds, transfer your data, and define guidelines regarding the fate of your data after your death.
